No complaints so far. I bought one for my office and one for my wife's nightstand. The input is USB-C and I'm running it from a powered hub. The watch charger is magnetic and the lower base (AirPods Pro for me) also seems to be. I'd guess that the phone "easel" in front is also magnetic, but I don't have an iPhone 12. There is a row of green indicator lights on the bottom that shows you when a device is placed on any of the three charging locations (the lights go out after maybe ~10s or so). I'm not really tracking charging speed since I still have a C-to-Lightning cord running from a PD port on the same hub if I really need to boost my phone quickly, but I don't have any issues with the speed of the stand (it doesn't seem noticeably sluggish, and I'm running it from a QC 3.0 port so I'm not sure if I'm getting the max input voltage to the stand). Overall, it's been great, and it's insanely cheaper than the MagSafe Duo. 5 stars for now, but I'll update my review if any issues pop up. A bonus is that my wife has been using the easel portion to charge her phone in landscape mode while watching videos on it.
